In 1985, Huadong Company was established in Xiashan Town, Ninghai County.
In 1990,through market research, the company independently produced moulds and developed injection products.
In 1994, the company began the long-term cooperation partnershipship with some transnational companies including Sanyo, Panasonic, Canon,Gifu,Omerom of Japan and Electrolux,Baide of America.
In 1998, the company carried out the second undertaking and moved the headquarter into Ninghai Economic Development Zone so as to establish their moulds processing center and a new office buliding of 8 floors.
In 1998, the company won the title of "the three-star enterprise" prize from Ningbo municipal government.
In 1999, it won the title of "the enterprise with best economic performance in Zhejiang province" from the provincial government.
In 2000, it won the title of "the key popularization enterprise for CAD appliance projects" and "the demonstrating model for CAD appliance projects of Ningbo".
In March of 2000, the company went through ISO 9002.
Since 2000, the board chairman Mr.Xiaowen You has won the title of "excellent entrepreneur in Ningbo city".
In 2002, the company successfully developed series of vacuum cleaners with"Huadong" brand for household.
In 2002, the company invested huge fund in Ninghai Science and Technology Industrial Park on establishing the modern workshop,which covers an area of 100,000 square meters,including 50,000 square meters for floor space. In 2003, the company purchased large scale injection equipment and invested 30 million Yuan to develop plastic pallets.
In May of 2003, the new plant in Ninghai Science and Technology Industrial Park has been completed.
In August of 2003, the company passed the China Compulsory Certification (3C certification).
In December of 2003, the company passed ISO9001-2000 Edition of International Quality System.
In April of 2004, the company took part in the International Kelon's Electrical Home Appliance Exhibition as the largest participant of Ningbo.
